Post time

A collection of this weeks ventures! Mostly in my new mechanical pencil (which takes a ridiculous amount of time to render anything... Think I'll leave the quick sketches to my trusted graphite pencils next week). Included a wee bit of a still life which I never finished because it was stupid 'o'clock at night, but overall, a more varied post than usual. One or two bits are from my mind, the rest are observational.

Faces

Quick observational sketches of Bournemouth's residents and a statue/bust in pen... I haven't done these in a while so I was pretty out of practice, but I like some of the qualities I captured in the profile sketches. Now to start the layout assignment... bahhhhh

Self Port

Tonight I tried a out a digital self portrait and ventured into colour schemes as it's something I'm generally scared of! I tried to work loosely as well, and not get caught up in too many irrelevant details as I usually tend to 'overdo' digital drawings. I Look maddd ha!
